Since 2009, SKY Solar (Canada) Ltd. has successfully obtained 20 MW of FIT contracts. We have Independently planned, and developed more than
32 MW of FIT projects of which 19 MW has reached commercial operation.
Sky Solar (Canada) Ltd. has also grown an effective relationship with First Nation communities.


To date, First Nations have been 15% Equity partners with Sky Solar (Canada) Ltd. as it relates to all of our FIT2 projects. Sky Solar (Canada) Ltd. has recently incorporated
SkyPath Energy as a company that will capitalize on our strong First Nations relationships, and enhance business opportunities for First Nations peoples through strategic and beneficial solar projects.

Preliminary Building Inspection Report: including detailed mapping, photos, and initial consultation with LDCs regarding specific site and confirmation of potential by the LDCs.


Feasibility Study Report: including roof study, structural study, solar irradiation study, system layout, SLD and overall recommendation of the system design for high power output specific to the building site.


FIT Application Information Package: delivering all technical information required for FIT application, such as preliminary grid connection information, evidence of land designation, etc.
 

FIT Contract Execution: managing operational issues among the landlord, the LDC, the OPA, the ESA , and government agencies and other parties to ensure successful delivery of the project.


COD and FIT Contract Assignment: to ensure the solar system investors have the full ownership of the solar PV system after COD.

CIA/CCA Approval: working with LDCs to enable them approving our CIA/CCA applications so the PV system can be connected to the grid.


Building Permit: including site specific engineering drawings, site plan and other application materials.


Construction Package: a full scale detailed engineering package ready for tendering and construction.


On-site Construction Management: to ensure the field work is performed according to the construction package, and subcontractors are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
