Infrared Roof Inspection

An Infrared roof inspection is a diagnostic tool that is a proven method for detecting heat loss and trapped moisture within the roof assembly. Infrared roof thermography can prevent long term asset damage, reduce downtime, production losses and help building owners and property managers find roof problems long before they become compromised by leaks. We recommend performing a scan every two to five years as a preventive maintenance measure. Due to the high cost of replacing a damaged roof, identifying minor roof repairs before they become large, expensive repairs are a wise asset management strategy.  Thermographic roof inspections should be performed whenever a building changes ownership. Also, when a new roof has been installed to establish a benchmark of optimal performance, also beneficial for warrant purposes.  A scan will also confirm the condition of a roof before workmanship and/or manufacturer warranty expires.
